Welcome to Enfield Family Contact Centre
Enfield Family Contact Centre is based at Enfield Baptist Church in Enfield town. We provide a place for separated parents to meet with their children. We serve both the local and wider community.
The Centre is a safe, friendly and impartial place where children can meet with their parent (or other family members) with whom they no longer live following their parents’ relationship breakdown.
Although there needs to be at least one parent with your child at all times while at the Contact Centre, volunteers can carry out handovers so you do not have to meet your ex-partner if you do not wish to do so.
We are open on Saturday afternoons between 2pm and 4:30pm. To find out all of the days we operate please see our calendar
Contact Centres may provide differing levels of support during contact. We offer ‘supported’ contact only, not ‘supervised’. This means that our volunteers are available for assistance but there is no close observation, monitoring or evaluation of individual contacts. We have a playroom where non-resident parents can meet with their children and a small outdoor space that can be used when weather permits. There is a separate room where the person dropping the child off can wait if they wish.
The Centre is staffed entirely by volunteers.
